All tournaments are played under the USGA Rules of Golf. Rulings and decisions will be made by the Rules Committee and their decisions are final. Players are responsible for their own actions and if a question should arise about a ruling they should act on their own behalf (not a parent) to the Rules Committee. Spectators are never allowed to make rulings or argue with staff members.

Dress Code

The golf courses in northern Nevada are very gracious in allowing us use of their course and facilities. When on tournament sites you are representing not only yourself, but the NNJGA program as well. NNJGA tournament officials will enforce the guidelines set forth in the dress code policy. Any breach will result in the junior member not being allowed to play until the infraction is corrected.

Any breach of the policies or guidelines set forth will result in disqualification from the event where the incident occurred as well as the next two events you have entered without refund. Continued violations will result in dismissal from the NNJGA Program.

Breach of Guidelines Conduct Guide

Teaching sportsmanship, etiquette and the Rules of Golf are major goals of the NNJGA. To promote these areas and to maintain the integrity of the program the following guidelines for conduct will apply and tournament officials will enforce these guidelines at all events. Any breach will result in disqualification from the event where the incident occurred. You will also be disqualified from the next two (2) events that you have entered without refund and be required to write a letter of apology to the course professional and NNJGA Board of Directors. Continued violations will result in dismissal from the NNJGA Program.
